And this.....lmao.....back in the fall the foreman said he wanted to build one of those calf catching trailers to pull behind his kubota. I'd never seen one but some googling gave us a rough idea. We tag only the calves on our first calf heifers which all stay in one pasture close by until they have a calf and earn the right to move to general population. This rig works pretty dang good. We just leave it in the calving pasture. One pin can be pulled to change between trail kinda behind you mode or out beside you calf catching mode. The door latches open and when you pull the rope the door slams shut. We are gonna make a little area in the back to haul a calf or two if needed.

Well... I discovered I'm not as good with paintbrush as I thought. :D

Here's the best I could do regarding the shape of Dad's old spurs from memory. I didn't attempt the rowels, but they're just dull 5-point stars. The heel strap was on the front button, under the leathers. No guarantee that everything is proportioned correctly.

Thats cool. I really need to build one of those. My roping skills are pretty embarrassing. Especially while trying to drive a vehicle of some sort at the same time. And with my dad driving he will do his best to kill you.
