Red Horse used to be good, but I haven't eaten there in, oh, 30 years.
I ate at Fat Guys in BA last week, and it was very good.
Most of the places I've eaten over the last few months were in Texas (I highly recommend Denton County Independent Hamburger Company in Denton, BTW), but those would be rather long drives...

...Buena Vista, CO. Passed through there back in July in the move back to OKC and spent the night in an RV park. Went out to eat and found this BBQ place. Owners transplanted from Georgia, if I remember right. We got the "Sampler" entree on the menu and all the meats were dang good. Get back up there, and we're stopping again.

I ate at Robertson's at the Seminole exit off of I-40 a few months ago. I had one of the ham sammiches mentioned on their billboards.
The ham is pretty good, but it's all kinds of salty. It's shaved deli-style after you order, piled high on white bread, and stuffed into an old-fashioned fold-over baggie. There was plenty of ham, and it tasted good, but, man was it ever salty...

LOL... small world. I work for a couple of years at sparrow hawk back just after high school.
