I've lost some weight and looking for a new 1-1/2 inch leather conceal carry gun belt. I currently wear a belt made by Beltman.

I'll probably get a new Beltman, but wanted to see what you guys and gals like to wear in the leather gun belt category.

Thanks mucho!

I have both a kydex lined looper belt and a steel lined Bigfoot belt. I like the thin looper better, but it has not held up as well as the Bigfoot. The Bigfoot is truly twice as thick as the looper and about 70% more expensive.

I have worn a Bigfoot daily for a couple years. It's still as sturdy as it was on day one. My Looper broke down fairly quickly.

My Beltman was good. My two 1-1/2” Armour belts have been better. I have the 5/16” Gun Belt and a 1/4” Casual. The 1/4” has the stiffener. The 5/16” sees the majority of use, the 1/4” occasional use. I need to order a 1-1/4” x 1/4” to use with suits.
My Looper gave up with far less use than my Beltman.

Although I usually use a Wilderness 5 stitch, I did buy a Horsehide Belt from Kramer Leather several years back for when carrying a heavier gun OWB. It is tough as iron. I think I could hang a circular saw off of it with no sag or droop. But, it's thick; and can be a PITA to get it through some holster's belt slots.

I have had a couple of Looper Belts, both lined and unlined, and they all eventually cracked and split after a year or two of use.
