I may have that backwards, I cant remember now...but it had something to do with the shell elevator/lifter when cycling the action.

My 590 holds 9 and my Tac 14 holds 6, so I'm sticking with full length shells.

I'm not a fan of the price.

Great for teaching young uns and inexperienced shooters.

Found a vid and decided to make my own. Use the in a SxS for Cowboy Action shoots and teaching grandson.

Took a box of Rio 1oz game loads. A piece of 34" PVC cut to 1 3/4".

"Load" shell into PVC. Using utility knife, cut hull carefully. Dump shot out.
Pull was and cut bottom cushion off.
Replace wad, push it down snug against powder.
Put 1/2oz of shot in wad.
Place a 20ga cardboard wad on top of shot. I use a 5/8" hole punch and old cereal box to cut wads.

Put a fine bead of Elmer's white school glue around wad and hull.

Equals a 28ga skeet load patterns well and very little recoil. Plus you have enough shot to load another box.

Have reloaded the hills 10 times without a problem. Reload with 14gr Red Dot and Win 209 and AA 1oz wad

Less recoil when teaching my Niece and Nephew.

This is the only reason I would buy one of those OpSol Adapters and use these things; for teaching young'uns and newbs to shoot a shotgun without the recoil of a full load scaring them away. Let them shoot some of these; then if they like, move on up to a light 2 3/4" target load and so on.

Hmmm... do these have less shot, a hotter powder, or both? :anyone:

The Aguila mini buck have 7 pellets of #4 buck and 4 pellets of #1 buck 1,200 fps...In close quarters they`ll do the job. A lot folks with the Shockwave like the lower recoil and increased capicity...Between the cost and having to depend on a removable adapter in order function properly, I`ll stick with a full load of buckshot!
