From a choice of Carry to a Need to carry and what I will learn as I go through

Have made sure not to take the pain pill's I'm on. This is not easy. Plus these are top shelf meds so not going to lose my right to carry because of cancer and the pain pills that go with it. No meds yesterday or today and I feel like crap. As soon as this little test is over I'm going to knock myself out.
Update. Carrying the CZ P07 with a neat, comfortable leather holster thats very comfortable to carry.
First off today, I went to the local grocery store and no one so much as batted an eye. Got some gas and bought a couple of things at the convenience store. Guy paying for Lottery ticket in front of me was OWB Glock 40...Ha.
Needed to stop by the parts store and still nothing except a comment on my holster.
Now these are ease ones I know, and I planned to do more, but I'm kind of in pain and going to lay down till I need to get my hair cut. Will see how that goes then I have to take some meds.

I guess I didn't get you are not concealed carrying. I get it. I thought you were just concerned about comfort. Concealed vs open is another topic for another thread. Personally, I wouldn't like to be the first "victim".

I'm in the same boat. After my surgery, I guess they cut some nerves that go to my feel and I cant feel them so walking is a real chore so I couldnt run if I had to. I can only stand my ground if confronted

I've got the hair for one, it's just white. I was salt and pepper at 21. Wife said it makes me look extinguished.

Sorry for the confusion but I'm going with open carry as I've mostly concealed carry. Today was a good day. Where I get my hair cut was funny because she liked the leather too. Then she pulled out her glock with the red laser. COOL.
After I went to Walmart and expected to have a problem. Went to every department (except ladies) and no odd looks or comments.
Glad to get home to my pain pills but I intend to try out the same setup at home till I get a real feel for it, then move on.
