I think I'm getting the hang of it. Worked on a project today. I'm really liking this tig welding. This project would've gone faster if I'd used the mig but I need practice on these type projects before I get into the projects that can't have flaws.

Not picking at your welds at all your doing great just starting out in the top picture on the top edge of your weld can you see where the metal is cut out and lower than the surface? That is undercut be sure and wash your filler metal up there and let it fill in by adding a little more wire. I have tried to help a lot of guys that haven’t picked it up as quick as you cowcatcher

Yessir, I do see that undercut. I appreciate your input. You ain't gonna hurt my feelers! I'm still trying to get my motor skills all in sync. I catch my self focusing on tungsten and quit feeding wire. I'm so used to watching my puddle and tip mig welding and the wire just feeds itself.
