OSU flagpole for the ranch owners. Folded some 10ga sheet metal for the brim and the crown is made out of a worn out cutter head off of a krone disc mower.

Boss flew the confederate flag until he found an American flag the size he wanted.

Today I built several cinch latigos and off billets. Folks including myself are dusting their saddles off, making repairs and getting started working cattle. We will have a busy week starting daylight tomorrow. 900 cows to work, 700 calves and 400 yearlings. Every year when the neighbors start pulling in first thing in the morning I'm running back and forth barn to leather shop grabbing stuff they need. Atleast a few of em decided to swing by today instead of chaos in the morning.

Lol, do ya buy leather by the boxcar? :D

Seriously (if ya don't mind), where do you get yours?
:drunk2:
Most of it we order from Weaver leather. A very small amount of it comes from Tandy. Most of the colored exotic stuff and hair-on hides come from Texas Leather Goods. We've got a dealer thing so we can order straight from Weaver and we buy in bulk to get a pretty big discount. Weaver quality is hard to beat because of their buying power they buy most of the top grade stuff kinda choking out those like Tandy. I've heard a few people say they can get better Herman Oak leather from Weaver than they can straight from Herman Oak.

Don't you have a high-dollar engraving system? ;)
I do. I could hand tool every makers mark too but it's handy to have it all on one stamp then it only takes 2 seconds per item.
Or are you saying I could make my own stamp?
If you are.......well........I'm gonna have to think on that.
