House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday declared that Congress is a “superior branch” of government, as the clash between congressional Democrats and the Trump administration over closely held documents intensifies.

During an interview with Robert Costa for Washington Post Live, Pelosi, D-Calif., was asked whether Congress is functioning as a coequal branch of government.

“I think we’re a superior branch, quite frankly,” Pelosi said. “We have the power to make the law and the president enforces the law. So we have a big role. We’re closest to the people and we have a big role to play.”

I'd say she needs to go re-read the Constitution, but I'm not sure she's ever actually read it at all.

Pelosi, Schumer, Cory, Tilab, OAC, Omar, Maxine Waters, Sheila Jackson and a host of others like them couldn't legislate anything except more funds into their pockets. They are a diverse bunch of the sorriest people in congress who prey off of the taxpayers they lie, steal, cheat, cover for one another and they know if they stick together no one will be investigated because they aren't going to initiate any investigation in their lifetimes Hillary or no Hillary.
In school I was taught that only the best go to congress as dictated by the people, they are honorable and are looking out for the people that elected them. As the years have passed and I have seen more corruption than nay one human ought to see, I have become disillusioned by my former teaching and have become jaundiced and critical of people who draw pay and don't work but continue to appear on TV extolling their virtues when in fact they have none and they lie. Our country has become worse thanks primarily to Democrat politicians and their futile activities, they talk of how evil trump is and yet they failed to address Obama's evils. Republicans have to share in this also, they didn't utter a peep when Obama was in office.

Republicans sued Obama several times, held Holder in contempt, etc, etc, etc. Just because the media did not report it does not mean they gave Obama a pass.
