Well, I'm on the Doctor's "you better cut the sugar or you'll be a diabetic soon" diet. After two months of that I'm down 26 pounds. Half of that dropped the first 3 weeks. Now it's slowed to a trickle. No exercise yet. If I actually manage to start that back up I'm sure it'll go quicker. It's not too bad. The no bread and potatoes thing is kinda rough.

Still no swimsuit for me, though.

Blood sugar - aka glycogen- is bound to water in the body so when you dump sugar, you dump tons of water weight that’s literally attached to it.

I say actually not to discourage but rather to clarify and say keep it up! .5 - 1 pound a week is the normal rate for weight loss, with 2 pounds a week being on the rapid/fast end of healthy, AFTER the initial steep decline of water weight loss.
