I have had two both broke at fairly low round counts. If Gary's holds up I might try a third ,but I have had such good luck with my g 43 that Im leaning towards a 43x instead

I’m seriously liking my 43X; it’s all about the better grip. It just fits. I admire the P365 but even if did trust the things, they are still to small for me.

I’m no Sig fan but I do have 1150+/- rounds through the P365 and it is a fabulous little gun.
I wish it had ambi mag release.
Won’t be getting far away from my regular carry gun, but this P365 does carry very small.

hc365 (2).jpg I had one of the first P365s made. In several hundred rounds I had a couple of failure to close completely early on. Liked it but someone offered me more than I paid so away it went. Several months later I regretted it and picked up one new for $450. I never had one problem with it. It was very accurate and fit my hand well but I was trying to make it a pocket pistol and just did not like it as that. So, someone else paid me more than I paid. Early on I had one of the first G43s around as I really liked the idea of a smaller 9mm. It didn't work with me for a variety of reasons. When the G43X and G48 came out I handled one of each and thought they felt pretty good. I thought the G43X was what the G43 should have been. Not too long ago I pretty much decided I would get a smaller gun for edc and make myself stick with it. Was leaning toward a G43X. My brother in law was also thinking of a small 9mm. His son had recently picked up a G43X and his daughter had a P365. The four of us got together to shoot both and compare. My niece really liked her P365 but she doesn't shoot much. My nephew really talked up his G43X. So we spent a day in eastern Oklahoma shooting the two. We looked at size, weight, sights, accuracy, capacity, ergonomics, and trigger feel in addition to which we just enjoyed shooting more. In discussing the two the size and weight were a draw. In all other categories we all agreed the P365 won hands down. The end result was the three guys now own P365s and my niece thinks she is smarter than any of us. I realized my problem was mostly trying to make it a pocket pistol but even there it beat out the G43. I edc mine mostly IWB with a 12rd mag in a kydex holster but have a Ryan Grizzle high ride OWB for when I want to dress up some. I also carry a spare 12 rd mag (25 rounds in a tiny gun!) When I require pocket carry (which is seldom) all I have to do is pull out the 12 rd mag and put in the flat 10 rd mag. I only use the pinky mag ( in Ryan's photo) at the range. It would require having a 43X and a 43 to do that with the Glock. I've probably got close to two thousand rounds thru my three and my niece's and those failures to close completely are the only malfunctions I've had. I mentioned in another thread that you can teach old dogs new tricks but they might not like them. I'm liking this P365 so much I recently picked up a P320 XCompact and I'm liking it also.

I love my P365. I'm done trying to make anything larger a carry pistol or something too small be my SHTF/night stand pistol. My SHTF is a Sig P226 and my EDC is the P365. No more trying to split the difference. For the first time EVER I carry 90% of the time I'm not at work. The fact that it's shockingly accurate for something this small or holds 10 rounds is really secondary to the fact that I finally found something in 9mm I'll actually EDC.

I know what you mean - this little pistol is the one that finally got ME also carrying 90-95% of the time. In fact, I recently turned down an opportunity to serve as part of an organization in some small part because going to the meetings would require me to regularly enter a building that would require me to disarm. I've gotten so used to carrying nearly everywhere that the few times I have to disarm are extremely uncomfortable for me.

Just got word that SIG will produce a 15 round mag to be shipping in the next couple months. Obviously I will be bigger than their 12 rounder so I'll probably restrict it to my backup carry mag.

OK now things have gotten really interesting. I've been watching the 320 and it seems that Sig has the bugs worked out from what I can tell. For me it's about the width of the platform. If they can stuff 15 rounds in a slim gun like the 320 or Shield, and maintain reliability, that's certainly worth a look. It's the width of a Glock 19 that I don't like. I could carry a G34 just fine if it were the width of a G43. Some guys can AIWB a G34 but I ain't one of them due to the width.

Just last night I saw a video that had the guy shooting close to 2" groups at 25 yards with a 365. Seems that Sig is redefining "concealed" carry.
