Great looking lady that never acted like the biatches of today's actress. She kept it classy.
There are NO actresses or actors for that matter that measure up to the stars of yesteryear, Randolph Scott, Lucille Ball, you name them no one in Hollywood can hold a candle to the old stars-and they were stars! These days people like Johnny Depp, Jim Carrey and multiple females think they know everything about running a country whereas they know nothing. They aren't politicians and the sure as heck aren't actors yet, they mouth off on. near daily basis about the country, trump, abortion etc., ad nauseam.

Don't forget the likes of Sean Penn, Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, Alyssa Milano, Amy Schumer, etc., etc.

Here, but occasionally There.
RIP, Doris.

The only "negative" thing I ever heard about her was that she made some statement that "no one should get married until they have lived together for some time." Granted, in today's cultural climate, that would likely be normal, but in her day, it wasn't.

In her case having 3 failed marriages before she said that she may have been right.

Wasn’t contract marriages that were set up by the studious common back then?
Rock Hudson was one of her marriages and he was solidly gay. I doubt the marriage was ever consummated.
Yes a lot of Hollywood marriages were set up but even though Rock was gay surely he "fell off the wagon" and tapped that. Bi for a night or something !!:faint:
