The libertards including double barrel Biden and Kamala Harris among others are advocating free healthcare for illegal immigrants.
Meanwhile my wife that has 2.5 years before medicare has paid into the program all of her working life has to now go on the obamacare system.
You know the one. You can keep your plan, you can keep your Doctor, and it will save the American Family up to $2500 per year.
We are looking at the cheapest catastrophic plan with a $5K deductible for about $13,000 a year. Only one carrier in Ok and every agent can only offer the same price.
What is wrong with the libatards? I thought the dumbocrats were the champions of the working class?

It has been my observation that liberal politicians are champions of whatever is politically convenient for themselves at any given time. They wave their supposed principles around with an air of moral supremacy, but never apply their “principles” favorably to anyone who doesn’t say exactly the right things to prove themselves liberal enough, and never apply them unfavorably to anyone who does say the right things.

They’ll use the working class if it helps them get more power. They’ll use black people if it helps them get more power. They’ll use women if it helps them get more power. They’ll use poor people if it helps them get more power. They’ll use rich people if it helps them get more power. They’ll throw them all away if it helps them get more power. Some are short-sighted about it (AOC), others have a good long con (Clinton), but most liberals (and some conservatives) are authoritarians above all else. More power is their primary goal in politics. What they do with that power is nowhere near as important to them as having it.

Want to tax the rich more? Raise taxes on luxury items like limousines and yachts. Oh, they just cross the state line and buy them where taxes are lower? Hm, never thought of that.

It’s unnecessary to have a a skills-based test. The market can decide who will be successful at migration better than the government can.

All that’s needed is to make anyone who’s not a citizen ineligible for all government charity (welfare programs), and to eliminate limits on immigration so anyone can give it a shot, as long as they’re not a criminal or suspected terrorist. If they can make it here financially without assistance long enough to become a citizen, it’s obvious they are contributing something valuable to the economy, which means their presence benefits all of us. If they can’t sustain themselves long enough, they’ll go somewhere else. This system would simultaneously lower immigration overall because it’s less attractive without welfare, and virtually eliminate illegal immigration, since almost anyone would be able to migrate lawfully in a reasonable amount of time. Anyone crossing the border illegally would almost certainly be someone who was ineligible for immigration due to a criminal history (otherwise they just would go through a port of entry and be documented), simplifying border enforcement.

However, we also need high cultural assimilation requirements for naturalization, otherwise unlimited immigration may contribute to destabilizing our society under certain circumstances (as if it’s stable now – ha!). Migrants must melt. If someone isn’t interested in assimilating, migrating to the US isn’t for them. A harmonious culture is essential to the success of a nation.
