I love golf, just cannot afford it.
Mark Twain is supposed to have said, "Golf is a good walk, spoiled."

Anyone been to Top Golf? That place is fun. I had an hour of private lessons from a PGA pro. He was hitting the back fence some 300 yards away with a freakin 6 iron. I finally came close with my driver at the end of the session. My back was killing me for 3 days afterward.

No way was anyone at top golf hitting a 6 iron 300 yards. Just the word Pro at Top Golf makes me laugh. It’s fine for a few snacks and banging a few balls with friends but that’s about it.

I have never once played a single round of golf other than mini-golf. For the simple fact I know how much I spent on guns and fishing. LORD knows I can't afford another hobby especially after kids. Let alone its just like the other two where you can fall into the trap of if I spend another $1,000 that will improve my abc by XYZ. Not to mention all three require money each time you do them. Fishing, gas, plastic and so on, Shooting, ammo, Golfing - green fees, cart rentals and so on. I need a hobby that requires no money. Wait its sitting on my rear watching TV.

All items mentioned are shared family items. I am sure my portion per month is less than cost of lost balls on one golf trip. :burnout: Plus LED tvs use virtually no power and I use IPTV so it requires no boxes and its much cheaper than cable.
