I'm pretty sure I've been to that place. On the north side of Rush Springs?
Kinda between the 81 business exit on the north side of town and the flashing light. East side of the road.

A little early yet for Black Diamond in Oklahoma. Black Diamonds are coming out of South Texas this time of year.
My dad was a produce buyer for grocery stores for 40 years and we always managed to get the best watermelons all Summer long! When I was teen, I worked Summers in the OKC Farmer's Market and always found great watermelons! But the OKC Market is far from what it used to be. Now the markets at OSU-OKC and Cleveland County are pretty good.
You're not alone Powerman. That's the only melon I grow every year. And yes, they are tasty.Crimson sweets are in my opinion the best melon, but that’s just my opinion. One single little vote.
Only buy the seedless now. Sometimes they aren't as sweet as a black diamond, but I hate working through the seeds.
Now I understand the saying, "Eat your heart out."I just buy 3 and cut the hearts out of them. My son can snack around the seeds at his leisure
My grandpa (who was known to sit in the cab of his truck with a .30-30 to keep the coyotes out of his watermelon patch) once stopped at a watermelon stand. When the guy told him how much it was per pound, he told him, "well, then just cut me about two pounds out of its heart."Now I understand the saying, "Eat your heart out."
