I had a Kimber Aegis in 9mm. Sweetest shooting pistol I've ever had. Ate every round I fed it. NEVER a single malf. Unfortunately, I was short of Christmas funds one year and sold it to another member.

I've got a Ruger LW Commander 9mm in and I'm pretty sure I've typed its praises on these hallowed forums before.

Short version: It works. Eats everything, including some "factory reloads" that have OAL issues and can choke even a CZ (P10 AND Scorpion). Very accurate, and even with the lightweight frame, very soft shooting.
