I do not believe he is the only problem, but he is dang sure the main one! He has built his own little empire. I absolutely want to see the NRA survive. I have been a member as long as I can remember, and have given them a fairly tidy sum over the years. It really burns my butt to know that not all of my money was used at it should have been. He doesn't need Beverly Hills shopping sprees, trips all over the world, a $1.4 million salary, nor a $6 million mansion. He needs to do his job for all of the responsible gun owners in this country who have given their hard earned cash!

You absolutely hit the nail on its head.
The CEO and the boards of directors are complicit in this debacle as well as other corporations.
Each member of the board knows they are inline for the ceo job when the time comes so they elevate salary and perks almost unanimously.
When someone steps up and says they don’t agree and those folks need to be held accountable, they are banished from the board.
Most are given an exit bonus with a non disclosure agreement that must be signed or severe penalties will be imposed. Most agree for the bonus but there are some that accept principle vs the almighty dollar because that is the right thing to do, and they suffer the consequences of their actions.
I salute those with higher morals.
