Good job Open carry people.
No joke. The 2nd Ammendment "auditors" and other a$$holes that carry openly to elicit a public response have put this over the top. You think Walmart would have taken the action they did if the jerk in Springfield, MO hadn't walked into a Walmart with a rifle and body armor the week after the El Paso Shooting. I'll bet not. I'm guessing Walmart just said enough is enough - we don't want a$$holes doing the "Walmart Walk" and freaking out our customers" anymore. It sucks what these retailers are doing and I don't approve. But, I can't really blame them for trying to keep these idiots out of their stores.

I agree with 04L completely.Whether you open carry or not you should support that right for people to choose to carry however they feel most comfortable.Because concealed carry will be the next thing walmart and others will ban. 2 years ago when I was visiting New Jersey, walmart was installing metal detectors in 2 of the stores I went to.

I knew once WM caved in that there would be this domino effect of others following suit.

Unfortunately so many "gun people" are willing to give up one more slice of our rights because they believe open carry is stupid so there won't be much backlash from these actions.

Whether you open carry or not you should still support that right!

I definitely support open carry. It’s the “Tacticool Timmy” that makes a joke of himself and causes problems we don’t need. Why does anyone need a rifle while grocery shopping?

Agreed. Thanks a lot “auditors” for making a spectacle of yourselves and projecting your bad image example to the public. You’ve done a lot of damage to the pro-gun community as a whole.

Today I went with The Wife to see Hamilton at the PAC - in 25 years of attending events here, today I saw something I've never run into there before...

Weapons checks. I have carried at the Tulsa PAC for years, I just walk on in and no one is the wiser. Today, they had security with wands and bag checks.

Seems like the paranoia has spread even further. I am not sure if this is a one-off because it was Hamilton, or if this is going to be the new norm at the PAC for all Broadway shows. That sucks donkey balls.

My wife and I took separate vehicles, as I had a FTF at Academy to pick up some ammo from a member today - so she texted me in advance and told me to leave my firearm and my knife in the car.

I tell you, I'm disappointed. I'm mad. How long is it going to be before they have guards wanding people at movie theaters and shopping malls and other stores?

Dangit.

Folks, they're doing they best to make us extinct.

If you are at a business that doesn't allow carry of any kind and a lunatic comes in and shoots you.If the person lives, I wonder if the business can be sued for prohibiting someone from protecting themselves. If not, you should be able to sue them.
