What about CVS and Walgreens? Seems they never get mentioned and they banned open carry. Do we just hate Walmart and let them have a pass.

So I spent the last 20 years in Tech. I worked for a company that had the contract for WM servers at their datacenter in Bentonville. Rumor was years ago WM already had their own algorithms that could use in store cameras to discern by a persons facial expressions if they were going to buy something they were looking at with great certainty. Their security procedures are up there with DOD, ATF and the likes. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they have the code and horsepower to scan everyone coming in against a database and alert the store to unwanted customers.

.Quick story.The receipt checker at a walmart in Tulsa would always check a friends receipt, every time.So he decided he would write F U cat on the receipt.Sure enough the guy checked him when he left and was not happy about the note.This guy was wearing hat,sunglasses and a winter neck scarf.He went in a couple of weeks later and he was escorted out of the store.

You dont have to let them stop you, all you have to say is no and keep walking.

I've hated both of them equally for years also.

Open carry is not allowed at gun shows. Maybe that's the reason for dropping attendance...

Open carry is very much allowed at gun shows.

They just don't allow you to have them loaded.
