I'm looking at getting a smart watch for my motorola Z smartphone so I can read text or answer calls via bluetooth link without activating the watch. However if I ever wanted to activate it as a second device, I want that option. I found one that looks very high quality but I've read that its a verizon watch for that network. So can I still ue all the function via bluetooth on my at&t smartphone? Heres the link
I’d check into Garmin. I have a Fenix 5 sapphire and love it but I use it for “fitness’ don’t care to text but I do answers calls on it,

Perfect, that's what I'm looking for and I have gathered the same from reviews just wanted to hear someone who wasn't a possible fake review writer say it.
Thanks. I ordered it

No worries. If you don't like the rubber band for whatever reason, I picked up the bands below along with the screen protectors in one neat set. I'm VERY rough on watches as you can tell from the pics attached but you'll be able to see the chipped screen protector and rubbed band. Had I not had the protector, I'd hate to see the screen. The band also makes it super quick and easy to put on and take off and doesn't mess with charging at all.

In the settings you can even have it set to give you map directions on your watch which is neat... If you have any questions about settings on watch or software when it comes in, don't hesitate to ask.

I want to be able to read a text then decide if I need to answer nowt on my phone or let it wait. I can imagine my fat sausage fingers would have hell typing anything on the watch. Unless it does voice to text which most likely it does.

Also FWIW, people I respect trust the Wirecutter for reviews of technology (even if they did get bought by The NY Times). Here's what they're saying about Android smartwatches:
https://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-smartwatch-android/

I opened this link and the first thing I see is their number one pick as a Fossil. I'm a fan of that brand (its what I been wearing for years as a regular watch) but the reviews dont give it a lot of hope? As soon as I saw this post by you, I canceled my order for the Tic watch lol. I need to learn patients. So now I'm liking the Samsung that snafu1 posted and the Fossil (just because its Fossil, but is it a good watch? the reviews indicate the battery life sucks and thats important to me)

Does that work with a Motorola Z2 or only samsung?

As far as I know it works on most modern Android phones. I use a OnePlus 6 and have no problems.

My wife has had the Fossil Women's Gen 4 Venture for about 9 months now and has been very happy with it. It does everything you want and doesn't need a cellular connection. Just connects through her phone's Bluetooth.

Thanks, I'll file that information, based on more reading and his recommendation for the Samsung. I ordered the watch, a charger stand, slip over watch covers on different colors and a screen protector 4 pack. It only cost me $249 for it all!
On amazon, I went to my cart to finish the transaction and Amazon took $100 off and it said "gift card", which I have no idea where that came from but I wasn't going to wait to see in case it was a mistake LOL. I hit pay now fast! Already got notification part of my order will arrive today and the rest tomorrow. Probably coming from Best Buy.

Thanks for everyones input, I think I made the best choice after hearing yalls input.
