I have seen some news reports that on Nov. 1, people will be allowed to carry concealed without a permit or license, in Oklahoma. I haven't paid much attention to the new law, as I have a handgun license, but I was under the impression that folks without a license will be only allowed to carry openly, am I wrong?

I don't think so, you will be allowed to carry concealed or open unless you are under 21 or a prohibited person (felon, um named on a restraining order maybe?, etc.)

Concealed was stricken from the law when open carry passed. Of course you can still conceal but you dont have to.
No permit required to carry any way you wish as long as your not carrying it in your hand lol.
