Tonight I tried one of the bragged about Braum's Hot Link. It was okay but nothing special IMO. I am going to eat the rest of the package before I reach a final verdict but so far I like JC Potter's better.

I second on the JC Potter, better taste, high protein and only 1 carb.

For me the Braum's and JC Potter's are both just okay.

I was really liking the Schwab's smoked El Cortez hot links but they must have changed the recipe because the last bunch I got were kinda nasty.

The search continues to find an above average hot link without driving to the metro area.

I never said it was the bomb, I said it was not garbage. For a reasonable price you can get steak, shrimp and everything else your little pea picking heart could want. Last time I was there I got steak, a few shrimp, a big salad with lots of goodies, steamed veggies, few tators and a roll. Then I want back for a little bit of Bourbon Street chicken and some more veggies. Followed by a small piece of carrot cake. Blew my diet but I only get cake every once in a while.

Heck maybe I need to try GC again. Mom n Dad say they go to one location and they claim its better than the rest. Not sure which one but I'll ask and I'll go try it again.

Not that we go to Golden Corral very often, but the one on NW Expressway was pretty good.
