Never happen

Which part?
The people that will turn over the guns, yes if it comes to a felony or turn them in, I guess most people would. Now criminals will not care either way.
I think that the next Democratic pres might try to push a ban, Virginia and Kentucky are now "blue" states after their lastest elections.

Let them try. If they threaten that I'll pull my money from the banks, install solar panels, dig my own well. People tend to forget that we lived centuries without all that stuff. And if it came down to them saying "Hey, we need you to "voluntarily" turn in your firearms or we will do <X>, I'll tell them try it and you'll see why I have firearms. Those that fear a government seizure of our firearms seem to forget WHY we are armed. You tend to forget that we also have the freedom of speech and freedom of assembly.

I do not fear a government gun grab. I will defend my rights and the rights of others with my firearms. I, with others, will be victorious or dead. So I will either live or die a free man.

They’ll cut off your cable tv if you don’t obey.

Kentucky ain't "blue". Yes they elected a Dem gov but I don't think that one position makes it a blue state. Or does it?

Here's a 2016 red-blue map. Maybe someone has a newer one? :anyone:
