Do they offer raw oysters? That’s the only way I like them.

I like them raw int he half shell also, but I'll add that the best COOKED oysters I've had were at Smoke in Tulsa.

Six grilled with bacon-tabasco butter, six raw with cocktail and smoked black pepper mignonette

If headed south on I-35 get off on the Main St. exit heading west......immediately on exiting get in the far left lane and turn left / south at the first light (in front of McDonalds) which will put you on what is basically the frontage road that runs along the west side I-35.......go about 1/2 mile and it's on the right.

Dennis not sure if they serve oysters raw (yuck !) or not, you might want to give them a call.

I've always liked fried clams so I'm pretty sure I'm going to try them the next we go and I'll also get another bowl of the gumbo.

FWIW, the “frontage road” south of Main on the west side of I-35 is Ed Noble Parkway. It’s easier to get to Ed Noble from the Lindsey St. exit, IMHO.

I never had any kind of oyster at all until being served smoked oyster in basic training. Became violently ill with projectile hurling. Never touched another oyster until the 80’s.
Company sales guys would bring back a pickup load of oysters and shrimp right off the boat. Company would shut down operations and the party was on.
After a belly full of shrimp and more adult beverages, had to try one of the raw oysters on a Challenge.
Never looked back. Love em. Lots of horseradish in catsup to dip them in.

Gumbo is year round fair in my house!!
Big o pot with rice , holler at the kids.
My granddaughter had somel last time I made it , she is 2 years old and I was worried about the spice!! No worries she dug in!!
