I would say costco vs winco vs sams, but sams is no longer a savings place. The prices at sams are the same as if you bought the same quantity at wal-mart. Wife and I like both costco and winco.

Sams model is closing stores Costco is not. WinCo is opening stores in small food starved areas. The battle is on man!

Went twice this month. Not because I needed something. But, because I was at that location with a half hour to kill and wanted to look around. You walk in and its impressive. Boxes of food stacked high. You walk around this barrier and the rest is not so impressive.
Prices were the exact same as the Walmart neighborhood market near my house. Shelves just as empty. So there's no need to ever make a 10 mile trip out there to shop. More employees than customers when I was there.
