suggestion; get employed by a recession proof industry like alcohol, funeral or waste. I think Covanta (trash to energy) in Tulsa is hiring for waste. There is also American Waste in Tulsa.

I took a gunsmithing lathe class a MSC several years ago. It was just a week long. Msc and Trinadad Co. are the two best gunsmithing schools in the US. If you go to MSC you had better be prepared to work. They cram a four year school into two years. One of the students there told me it wasn't unusual to be in classes 12 hrs somedays.

I'm quite familiar with Trinidad, but MSC? Murray State College? I did not know they were that highly regarded.

The other day Bill's sporting goods had a sign up for hiring. Sports world in tulsa needed somebody and maybe dongs. Lol.
Academy in owasso. Walmart. The casino,s.
Cashamerica. Ezpawn.sells guns.get your ffl. Set up a booth at gun shows on the weekends.
Go to votech, take machining classes so you can have a job and then setup your own gunsmithing business. And if you really want to be a gunsmith , Murray's state college in tishamingo has one of the few gunsmithing programs in the United states.they also teach summer classes for gunsmithing with the NRA. Just google it. Good luck and go for it. P.s.you could also join the military like I did. Or reserves or guard. Free training . Free college

Start with simple, cleaning ....blueing.....simple smithing magazine repair, scope mounts, ...you'll grow if you have the drive to.

If you want to do Gunsmithing for a living pick a specialty, get the training and stick to it.
1911 or Glock or barrel work or whatever. Don't try to fix everything for everybody. there's no money in General repair.
you will get overrun with people with old junkers wanting a cheap fix.
