Springfield XD Subcompact in .45 How long has this baby been out?

Looks like I'm gonna hafta make room in the stable or sell off my .40 so I can consolidate my ammo into one specific caliber. I can afford the care and feeding of one caliber and several guns. As usual it comes with two mags, 9 and 13. You have your chouce of 10 round or 14 round carry around capacity.

I haven't seen one of the newer ones yet but did own an older model with either 10 or 13 round magazines and it was a hefty reliable pistol.
