As of Dec 1st, OK had something like 220k marijuana cards issued (or applications?).

At $200 a pop.

In 1 year of being legal.

$40,000,000 to the state, just in application fees. Not counting licensure for all the dispenseries and grow houses, and not counting all the sales taxes on the product.

We still having trouble paying our teachers in Oklahoma????

(Asking for a friend...)

Horse racing and gambling we’re going to save the schools too.
Fat chance doobie sales will improve the teachers lot in life.

I work in the gaming industry. OK was paid $125 million last year alone in gambling revenue, and will be nearly $140 million this year (not counting the money from Remington Park and Tulsa downs that the state runs the commissions on). This amount of money, before any compact rate negotiations for 2020, and we still have no more money for teachers and schools.

Not to count the mega millions that the state makes from the energy industry.

It isn't the amount of money, its the administration of those dollars that needs to be addressed. Florida has it more figured out, and that's without a state income tax. They actually have a 4 or 5 billion dollar surplus at the moment.

I had a nice Ruger Police Service-Six boomerang on me. I had traded it to a friend some time ago in exchange for labor. He sent it back my way today to cover a debt owed to me.

I am happy to have it back. I initially purchased the gun used and don't know its history. It has the sweetest trigger I have felt in a Ruger, bettering the GP100 Match Champion that I once tried.

Does not compare with the cool stuff listed here but I got a new franklin arsenal tumbler to replace my 15 year old franklin arsenal tumbler. I bet that old one has tumbled 200,000 rounds and it still worked but the bowl was cracked and leaking tumbling media.
