We have the Traeger. The max heat I can get is 425 degrees F or less. That number is hard to get in the winter. There are other pellet grills out there that cost less and produce more heat. Those ribs look good. My wife and I have been looking at a Traeger or just an electric smoker, We borrowed my in-laws Traeger to smoke some bacon. It worked well, just not sure about that price. I have a charcoal and propane grill, don't know if I need anything else. Since I love to cook and bake bread, my wife bought me a kitchen aid mixer. I'm ready to make some bread. She bakes a lot this time of the year so I guess its really for both of us.
No picts yet, but chicken & dumplin's have been started. About the best comfort food I know of.
What y'all fixin for Christmas Dinner?
We'll be doing Prime rib, mashed taters, Au Jus, Yorkshire Puddings and pumpkin pie to share with a couple confined to a rest home that has no family.
