Young'un. You obviously didn't grow up in that era so you don't understand the great chase scene that car was involved in by one of the greatest male actors of his time. Another great chase scene was in The French Connection. Absolutely hair raising at the time and no CG.

Most people these days have no grasp of this but it's understandable with all the special effects these days. He did his own stunts too.

Man, that kind of thing almost makes me sick. It frustrates me, watching all these auctions .... when I see some of the same types of cars I used to own back in the day. None of mine were near this caliber, or value .... wish I woulda known back then what I know now.

I owned my share of Mustangs back in the early ’70‘s, however my all-time favorite ride was my ’68 Roadrunner. The ’68 Cobra-Jet wasn’t bad either though.



+1 on the dislike of these new movies with Computer Graphics .... which are just basically modern day ‘cartoons’. They insult a person’s intelligence.
