The purpose of this thread is to have a place where all information related to the OK2A Association, such as dates and places for meetings can be posted. We can also post anything related to the 2A in general, such as information on proposed or pending legislation that might affect our rights and so on. This is intended to be primarily an information thread. If you have questions to be answered, or want to share info that is helpful to the cause, please put it here.

This is the 'go to' Thread on OKShooters for all things OK2A.org and all things related to 2nd Amendment.

Remember everyone- we may disagree on many things - BUT - on the Bottom Line we are all in this together.

Well said. As said above, we may sometimes quibble and squabble over this or that, but at the end of the day, we all agree on one thing. The righty to keep and bear arms MUST not be infringed. There are lots of people out there who would love to take our rights away from us. Let's make sure we do whatever we can to educate, promote, and set a good example for others in relation to all things firearms. I know many of us are looking forward to going to the range, setting up our new scope, teaching a kid to shoot and be safe. Imagine what it would be like if all that was suddenly taken away from us.

I believe OK2A is our best shot at Preserving and RECOVERING our Liberties, Peacefully thru the political system. BUT Preserve and Recover them we must do - whatever it takes . . .

We really don't have anyone else in Ok to look after our 2A rights in Ok other than OK2A that is an organized lobby group.
Don has done a heck of a job challenging those that would attempt to take them away either by ignorance of their own laws, or getting laws repealed that should have never been enacted in the first place.
Our Ponca City Gun Range has a special section in the membership/renewal application form to join OK2A.
