Here is what the test with the HF white powder coat looks like.
Grooves are filled in but the nose is quite thiin.
Not pretty like the red but I bet they would work.
I will roll then again.
I just got this powder today.

My fingers get used and my fingers are very very dry and I clean them before i touch the bullets.
I was using some really cool fine pliers.. something you could reach into an ear and pull a bug out with.
I did not get any different results with those when I first started powder coating and it took forever to stack the bullets.

Now I shake the bullets and the container will have the powder on the sides.
I wipe my fingers that will be touching the bullets into that powder.
Now the powder is touching the bullets not my fingers.

I have found if I have a bullet that looks like it did not coat well I can roll it in my fingers like rolling a booger HA! and that rolling will fill in the bare spots.

I did the second coat .
It did not look good after shaking..
SO
I mixed 1 teaspoon of Red and 1 teaspoon of White together thinking maybe that will coat better and make my red go further.

The red and white mix did very well one coat ..those are on the right side of the tray.
My nifty pincer pliers are in the picture.. those are normally closed and will hold a bullet very well .

I've done some HF white, and coverage was rather thin as well. It was thick enough that it didn't really concern me, and I shot them 'as is.' The coverage is not nearly as nice as the HF red, nor the Eastwood blue that I've used.

coverage was good..I think the rest of my bullets will look like that.. it passed the hammer test.
Place coated bullet on hard ground and smash with hammer.
Coating did not come off of the Easter egg or the white

I have a straight set of those tweezers pliers, they come in handy for working on small project parts and soldering on circuit boards and such. Had a curved set like that but they are hiding with all the missing socks somewhere LOL.

You need you some hemostats. I've got several in different configurations.

My bad - my white is Eastwood, not Harbor Freight. Still, not ideal coverage. The only HF I have is the red. It and the Eastwood blue work marvelously!

Good report on the eastwood white ..about the same as HF.
I would be saddened if I had to order that and got the same results as HF.

Your blue looks very good.
I just stuck an entire batch of 357-158 SWC tumble lube Lee bullets into the heat.
Easter Egg color as dlbleak named it.

OH man how about some blue in the mix ..Red White and Blue.
