BTW - that blue is Eastwood's "Ford Light Blue," if you want to try some. I caught it on sale some time back and bought one 8-ounce jug. Just one. If I had only known, I'd have bought two or three! ... or four!

Please forgive my curiosity,
....but why? Just aesthetics?

No. Not at all. It eliminates the need to lube cast bullets. Instead, they have a hard, baked-on 'jacket.' You cannot drive them to the velocities you can a jacketed bullet, but you can drive them at least as fast as a standard cast bullet. And, they are so much easier to handle. @swampratt has mentioned a number of the advantages in other places, including, not having to mess with a sticky lube that may melt under atmospheric heat. It's fun and easy to do!

OH YEA I did have some of the Alox lubed bullets get all runny on me in the heat.

Here is the last batch of Easter Egg.
I knocked some over sideways to show what they look like better.

Thinking of dipping the toe into PC. I have been reluctant to attempt this as I am deep in the woods with a Magma lubesizer and related paraphernalia. But I have a couple of Lyman molds that just barely hit my desired diameters. I have read the cure for Lymanicitis is PC. All I need to complete this endeavor is a baking instrument and a place to set it in the garage.

Go for it! It's simple, and all you need for a baking instrument is a toaster oven. I got mine at a second hand store, but you can buy them brand new at Wally World starting at about thirty bucks! When I get ready to powder coat, I've got a small folding table that I set up in the garage and set the oven up on it. When I'm done with the coating session, it all gets put away until next time. You don't need much room at all. I was a bit skeptical about trying it until @swampratt showed me just how simple it is! We're anxious to see your results!
