Just an update, your are correct Timmy! He's has since bought his first pistol - a Taurus TX22, gone to the range at least a dozen times. Brought his kid and got him started shooting .22's. And is now looking at his first rifle. He's got the bug now.
That's awesome! Just goes to show what a proper introduction to firearms can do.

Outstanding. Just downright outstanding.

That gives me an idea for an ENS: "Bring a Guest to ENS" event; everyone brings one or more guests who have either never shot a firearm before or are still new to it to an ENS where the focus is on safety and fun at the range. Maybe call it something like...oh heck, I dunno, maybe some will chime in with ideas but I would like to pursue doing this.

Yeah, I like it. We need some kinda thing to emphasize how much fun this can be and how non-intimidating it is. I suspect a lot of folks are simply afraid to go to a gun range for the first time...how can we get rid of that misperception?

That's awesome, I've got a TX myself and much enjoy it.. Free shipping on 2 mags, description is incorrect as they are polymer and not blued steel...
