Specifically, a CZ 75 SP01 safety model.
Where is the best place to get one? Local or online.

H&H is about $60 higher than Buds.
Buds has it for $625 with free shipping.
Does anyone have a line on one cheaper than Buds?

They don't list their prices online anymore so you have to call or email them, but I ordered a 75D PCR from D&L Hunting in Maine. They had the lowest price at the time. You might check Gunbroker, that's where I found their listing, but the list price on Gunbroker was the same as the price on their website (at the time). Shipping wasn't the fastest, it took them about a week, but this gun was not easy to find and they did have it, at the best price I saw.

Excellent choice in a pistol, btw.... :)

On the off-chance that you may want an SP01 Shadow instead, I traded mine in at Sooner State Pawn a couple weeks back. The slide has been milled by CZ Custom for their modular RDS system. It's currently listed on SSP's website for a hell of a lot less than what I paid for it originally. It comes with LOK grips, Cajun Gun Works Ultralite kit, and a Red Hill Tactical competition holster.

Very nice piece. I'm looking for a stock model though to be a bedside gun.
I've got my 2011 for competition.
