I wonder if anyone can tell me the true skinny on this.

Back in the early 60's Mom and I were hunting mushrooms in the forest,,,
I came upon a shed antler and wanted to take it home.

Mom told me that it was illegal because of a state law,,,
That gave ownership to all shed antlers in Oklahoma to the Boy Scouts.

One of Dad's drinking buddies was a Oklahoma state game ranger,,,
He's the one who she said told her about the law.

Has anyone ever heard of this?

I've always wondered if it were actually true.

Don't think so on private property but on state or federal property you are not allowed to remove any thing (except your trash). Such as rocks, trees, pine cones etc
