If I would’ve bought me one of those professor certificates I could make em pay me to work/educate em. Here I am teaching/workin em free and you want me to pay them. Lol. All jokes aside I think the girls n I make a good trade

You got room for 1 more in that school? This girl of mine could use that training and apparently isn't going to be busy for awhile.

Won't the closures cause a significant problem with some families who are now working at home, kids need taught and there is only one computer or even two a the home? Both parents working at home and children out of school for the remained of the semester.... Seems to me Dell and Apple are going to come out of this smelling like a rose with people now having a legitimate reason to buy a new computer.

We had spring break a week before Oklahoma, so we got hit with a suspended semester before y’all. They haven’t cancelled school but did start online classes this week and it’s been interesting to hear from all the families about it.

our district organized and sent home computers and iPads to facilitate the process but it’s been anything but smooth. Especially for the people who have younger kids who need help running the zoom meeting program and such

School buildings are closed but school will still go on . . . some how.

My wife has been in online meetings this week to discuss her school's plan to deal with this . . . I think her biggest frustration is all of the parents who actually think school is over for the year.

My youngest graduates from High School, my nephew from High School and my oldest from college this year . . . no formal graduations would be quite the change.

This is so freaking true... can't tell you how many people are looking at spending these on electronics rather than bills or saving them for the hard times to come. It's ridiculous.

I won't be getting any and as an employer have to figure out how to keep the doors open and my people paid if at all possible.

Oh, and anyone who tells you healthcare jobs are 'recession-proof' is full of shite.

An Apple MacBook is a want and not a need for most classes. My grandson’s school uses Netbooks for all of his stuff. $300 will buy a very capable one. The school checks them out.
