This is what I am thinking. I honestly think I had Covid 19 in November and we hadn't even heard of it then. I have NEVER had a cough like that. I went to my Dr, and while Im waiting in the exam roomm, I broke into a coughing fit. The Dr. heard me from across the hall with doors closed. So when he came in, no more explanation was needed. It was awful and I think I cracked some ribs coughing.

Me also. Mine lasted from before T'giving to the middle of January. Did 3 rounds of meds and nothing really helped. A light cough lasted til early February.

Well, I might later regret this, but ZH could be right on this one. I'd read somewhere of the problems with Ibuprofen and the CV before he mentioned it here.
He was right, but he advised Joel to do what he already was doing, and advised him against doing what he wasn't doing. He was very emphatic about it. "Don't do what you aren't doing!" That's what set people off.

Its not about whos right, I'd personally never take Ibuprofen or acetaminophen, both are very destructive to the liver aas I understand it. However I aint gonna demand that anyone take one over the other. I might have simply offered that asprin helps me when I have a fever so that's all I use.
YMMV

Thanks to all for the offers to help. We are good on TP; we have plenty of groceries and also, feeling a bit better this morning. I’ll holler if we get to that point where I do need a hand, but I ain’t riding in the trash trailer behind @bigred1’s truck, no damn way.

Ya’ll stay safe. This crazy crap will be over one day and life will get back to normal. Not that “normal” is a word ordinarily associated with some of u...uh, I mean...some of ya’ll here...this IS OSA, after all.

ZH actually got one thing right, don't take NSAIDs per several recommendations. It's been all over the news.

One thing? I have gotten the entire event right. Just because the Federal Government is slow walking the shutdowns all but guarantees multiple months of this, multiple re-infection waves as there is no immunity, you get sick with this and get better, the re-infection is even worse the 2nd time.
