It CAN be. Not always, such as when dealing with She Who Must Be Obeyed. Then, the natural tendency of a Marine to be somewhat stubborn can be a liability.

I’m trying. I actually do think Imma feel a little better. Someone told me the best way to count to that many is to ask an Air Force guy how many he’s got and then just say “yeah, that’s what I came up with too”.

USMC, like every other military branch is falling prey to the wussification of America. They probably have movie night with popcorn in boot camp now. Wasn’t like that in 1975 when I went to Paris Island. The times they are a changing.
