Has anyone read section 5 of the okc mayors emergency proclamation? No constitutional carry or permit carry in OKC.

I went to go morel hunting by the lake here a while ago and there were four tents set up next to the creek and people every where fishing also I looked for a while and left

Looking at the link from post # 57 of this thread, it shows the powers given to the high mayor of Oklahoma City when an emergency is proclaimed and says his honor "may" do the following things listed below blah, blah, blah.

P.S. It looks like this section of the city code may date back to 1980 (possibly before the state preemption on firearms thing???).

About the banning alcohol sales thing, Pennsylvania is grappling with that, as the Governor declared their liquor stores (which are state run) to be non-essential businesses and ordered them shut down.

Another clue that what you were reading is out of date was the 3.2 beer.

I’m good friends with a local politician who told me about it and I looked it up on my own and found that link through the city’s website, which was also posted in regards to the emergency proclamation in a newsok article. As far as the dating on the law, we’ll it’s straight from the city of okc page municipal code link. So if by chance it is out of date, I encourage anyone to find the current. Because I can’t anything more current than the one stated.

I'm not sure when preemption was enacted, but that particular section of the OKC Municipal Code has been null and void since it was.
