Scum of OKC “Protesting” On 23rd St

I don't know about you guys, but I'm gonna just stay away from anywhere this is going on. It appears to me that a lot of the people out there were just curious; excited to be a part of something. I guess some of them feel cool and all, being out there hollering and marching around. Of course, there a few who want to incite the crowd, maybe impress their buddies and throw a rock at a police car or something. "Hey, hold my beer..."

Now if it moves out to the area near Reno and Mustang Road, I'll activate Home Defense Plan A. Otherwise, I'm going to just carry on and go about muh bidness.

My daughter lives near 23rd and Shartel. I told her to come up here or don’t let her HD shotgun out of her sight. She stayed home last night. I might insist that she come here tonight if it looks like this crap is going to escalate. Stitt and Holt better get a handle on this.

When a car is coming at me with its lights flashing, the last thing I think to do is stand my ground. That being said, what the police did didn’t look necessary at the time.

My nephew is in the Missouri Natl Guard and got called up the other day. They live about 50 miles from St Louis. He has been in the guard for about 10 yrs. He was in the Army for 4 yrs. Hope he stays safe.

Man, she sure takes a lot of time to say...not much of any substance. And I agree with @dlbleak; a Police Car with lights and sirens going coming at me? I'm gonna move.

The problem is voter apathy allowing people like her and Holt to be elected. We need strong conservative people to step up and run for office. Voters should vote in every election, no matter how small. There are more and more people in OKC that lean left and have no courage to do the right thing. Good job by OKCPD keeping a lid on things. I’d like 5 minutes with the fool who set the police car on fire.

I wonder if the councilwoman would feel the same way about the heavy police presence if all of those poor innocent protesters showed up in front of her house in her neighborhood. Doubt it...

Maybe I shouldn’t post the very professional ‘we are the menstrual movement’ tshirt she wears to city council meetings. Also, I do think the black mask was a specifically chosen color.

They should be allowed to gather and protest peacefully anywhere; except in the middle of a road, street or highway. Blocking traffic is BS, and those doing it should be arrested, cited and made to pay.

I feel their plight. I’ll never understand it, but I feel for them. The rich white privileged kids appropriating these protests should have been spanked more as children. Wouldn’t bother me to see a little black on white crime when the white folk start committing violent acts, and inciting others to commit violence. I’m not saying they should have their asses whipped, I’m saying they’ve got it coming.
