2 Tulsa Officers shot last night

TULSA, Okla. -

Tulsa police are investigating after they said two officers were shot Monday morning.

Police said both officers were taken to separate hospitals in critical condition after the event started as a traffic stop near 21st Street and I-44. Officers said David Anthony Ware was named as a suspect.

Officers set up a large perimeter and said they were searching for a suspect.

Both officers required emergency surgery, police said.

I pray for the officers and may they have a speedy and full recovery. I would love to know where they were in the stop when things went way bad. It seems to me they would have been in the stop for a while to have a fairly positive ID on the suspect.

A perfect example of how 2 officers aren’t always enough for 1 suspect. I hope they recover and the suspect gets multiple new body piercings leading to a painful death. I’m sure he has multiple arrests and is a worthless POS.

News 6 said one was an experienced sgt, one was a rookie. Said they were "familiar" with Ware. Didn't say why or how, what they stopped him for? Too many questions....
