Leftist Teacher Worries About Parents Listening in on Virtual Classes

One educator doesn't want parents to get in the way of rampant leftist indoctrination.

My wife appreciates parental involvement . . . helps with keeping the kids on track and to get their work done. Virtual learning or not.

I was always so grateful when my kids had teachers like your wife. It made the school year so much easier. I had more than a couple of teachers over the years that did everything they could think of to make things has rough as possible on not just my kids but the entire class. Those years were ROUGH ... So rough I let my kids finish high school online. Those online classes were a godsend at my house.

She's taught 1st, 3rd and 4th grade over the years . . . has definitely had her fair share of difficult kids (and parents) but she most definitely puts the kids first when she's in the classroom. They often try her patience but ultimately they all mature to the point where they know the rules of the classroom.

I always appreciate insights about this topic that come from right here in Oklahoma. We may be incorrectly assuming public education here is the same as on the coasts.

Rural, private, etc is still pretty conservative and will have many teachers that are not part of the OEA even............inner city, large districts, will have many teachers that would run out into traffic if the OEA said to, and is where you'll find the greatest concentration of socialists teaching kids.
