If you don't know it's true why are you posting it?

Sadly with the way Walmart has changed over the last several years, it is not hard for me to believe they would do this. I checked and some are saying it is not true, some are saying it is. One that said it is claimed to be the 2nd LEO. No idea if THAT is true or not. You can decide for yourselves.

From Snopes.
But as the Grand Lake News (and others) reported, the referenced in-store audio recording was a message from Walmart President and CEO Doug McMillon that acknowledged the “intense sense of pain, fatigue and frustration” being felt by “our black and African American associates and communities.” It made no mention of Black Lives Matter or law enforcement or “white privilege,” nor did it specifically endorse any particular group or movement:

The original post was supposedly from a woman named Hannah Brown NOT Jana Lanza. Snopes rates it as False.

Walmart may or may not outright support BLM but they do Allow employees to wear BLM shirts, Masks, etc. and even allow same employees to mouth off their stupid blm rhetoric. Wearing a Mask that shows support for law enforcement can get an employee disciplined.

I'd LOVE to see the written corporate policy that says that. :angry3:

Walmart did commit a few hundred million to building some sort of black equity center though. I remember seeing this as an official statement a few months ago.

I think a lot of these corporations don't give 2 ***** about social causes but will use them to make a convenient tax-deductible donation if it keeps the heat off them. In other words, if the george floyd crap hadn't happened this year, WM most likely would have donated that few hundred mil to some left wing charity anyway.

The Walton kids who are running the company now are no friends of conservatives or traditional small towns, so it is pure coincidence if anyone here feels that WM embracing BLM is them selling out.

The company is too afraid of lawsuits to write it down. I know more than one person who was threatened with losing their job if they kept wearing anything in support of law enforcement. They won’t outright ban blm clothing or masks due to a fear of violence. Only way I know first hand is I work for the evil company.
