Where/how are you storing all your magazines and parts for guns? Been going through my ammo, bags, etc. I can't come up with a good way to store all the mags. Heck, had to just start trying mags in guns on some of the ones with no markings at all.

At this point, thinking zip lock bags, labeled, in plastic containers, also labeled. Leave the near irreplaceable ones in the safe.

Ok don't laugh. I have a bunch of plastic totes. Yeah, not shoe box bins --TOTES. And don't be impressed. I cannot tell you how much **** is laying around that needs to be in one of those totes. :blah::giveup:

The safe was full about 2 seconds after we bought it.

Ammo cans for as much as I can!
For guns I have a bunch of mags for, like AR15, M1A...I stuff as many as I can into ammo cans marked as such.
For certain things, I keep mags with the primary gun for that ammo.
Like I have a few P226 mags in one of my 9mm ammo cans, and keep a few 10/22 and Buckmark mags in the ammo cans of bulk .22.

We have a shared storage solution. I call it craptacular.

I just use zip lock bags for spare parts and plastic storage things for the different mags from the Dollar Store. Then some stuff goes in ammo cans; some in a big plastic tub like you store Christmas Decorations in, and some in a big old wooden ammo crate. Some of the bags and plastic tubs are even labeled so as to know what's in 'em. And some aren't. I need to get around to that one of these days.
