Funny how this just happened in Tulsa right before election

What’s the point? I get the historical connection but why desecrate graves just to examine the corpse?
Anyone going to be put in jail for murdering these folks?
It’s a waste of time and money.
"Getting justice" was one of the reasons mentioned on KOTV last night. Can you say "reparations"? G.T. Bynum can.

No evidence yet if these are even from the 1920s. Very unusual for coffins to be used in a "mass grave".

I still say the score is 10 to 36 until actual evidence proves otherwise.

I think they are trying to determine who these people are so they can send the reparations checks to the right people.

Race riots? Ancient Indian burial grounds? Why hasn't something-anything bad ever happened to those of a lighter persuasion? I'm tired of all the race issues brought up in recent years... If I could only narrow it down to a single individual who started this mess....

A friend said his grandma (who lived in the Tulsa area at the time) told him that she saw them hauling bodies out in dump trucks after the riot. (He is white, and presumably his grandma was, as well, BTW.)

If that's true (and I have no guess about that, as I never met her), it certainly doesn't lead me to expect to find those bodies in caskets.

Yeah, and a buddy of mine said his grandma saw wagons loaded with bodies headed to dump them in the river.

Why haven't the families of these dead come forward? If Uncle Roscoe, Pete and Joe all went missing at the same time in 1921, you'd think the family would be asking about it, and we'd have a list of approximately 300 missing bodies.

Instead we have urban legends.
