TREASURE TROVE: Text messages reveal Hunter Biden’s former business partner was told not to mention Joe
“Don’t mention Joe being involved.”

It just keeps getting better.

A treasure trove of texts obtained by Fox News reveal just how shady the Biden family actually is.

In a text thread from 2017, Hunter Biden’s ex business partner Tony Bobulinski was warned not to mention Joe.

How much shadier can it get?

The conversation surfaced following Bobulinski’s statement to the Post confirming that the former vice president was indeed a key player in his family’s plot to make millions in Communist China.

On May 20, 2017, Bobulinski was ordered by Jamies Gilliar, another participant in the Biden scheme, to keep hush regarding Joe’s involvement.

“Don’t mention Joe being involved. It’s only when u are face to face, I know u know that but they are paranoid,” a screenshot of the message reads.

But, that’s not all.

In another conversation on May 20, 2017, Bobulinski warned Gilliar that Hunter should be careful not to endanger his father’s campaign.

“U need to stress to H, does he want to be the reason or factor that blows up his dad’s campaign, things need to be done right and protective of that fact,” the text message said.

In a third conversation from just one day prior, business associate Rob Walker told Bobulinski about Joe’s pseudonym.

“When he said chairman he was talking about his dad and I think your dismissal of it maybe offended him a bit,” the message read. “But you didn’t know what he was talking about.”

Despite all efforts by the Biden family to keep their foreign business dealings under wraps, their worst nightmare is coming true.

And, just two weeks before the election.

The fun continues:

Mr. Goodwin reports a statement from Tony Bobulinski, a Biden business associate. The statement attributed to Mr. Bobulinski appears to confirm that contrary to his denials, Joe Biden was involved with his son Hunter’s business, and it was not a business in which a future president ought to be involved. The Bobulinski statement published by the Post reads in part:

I am the CEO of Sinohawk Holdings which was a partnership between the Chinese operating through CEFC/Chairman Ye and the Biden family. I was brought into the company to be the CEO by James Gilliar and Hunter Biden. The reference to “the Big Guy” in the much publicized May 13, 2017 email is in fact a reference to Joe Biden. The other “JB” referenced in that email is Jim Biden, Joe’s brother.Hunter Biden called his dad “the Big Guy” or “my Chairman,” and frequently referenced asking him for his sign-off or advice on various potential deals that we were discussing. I’ve seen Vice President Biden saying he never talked to Hunter about his business. I’ve seen firsthand that that’s not true, because it wasn’t just Hunter’s business, they said they were putting the Biden family name and its legacy on the line.I realized the Chinese were not really focused on a healthy financial [return on invesment]. They were looking at this as a political or influence investment...The Biden family aggressively leveraged the Biden family name to make millions of dollars from foreign entities even though some were from communist controlled China.
If it’s true that Joe Biden was accepting influence payments, including from Chinese entities, then he should immediately quit the presidential race. But the press has been largely uninterested in pursuing this story. Today Newsweek’s Jason Lemon made an effort and writes:

Newsweek reached out to the Joe Biden presidential campaign and Hunter Biden’s lawyer for comment, but they did not respond by the time of publication.
The recent media blackout on the Biden family business remains largely intact. The story did get a mention in a weekly newsletter from the public editor at National Public Radio. Beginning around paragraph 16, Kelly McBride addresses a listener’s question:

WSJ Newsletter
Notes on the News
The news of the week in context, with Tyler Blint-Welsh.

Carolyn Abbott writes: Someone please explain why NPR has apparently not reported on the Joe Biden, Hunter Biden story in the last week or so that Joe did know about Hunter’s business connections in Europe that Joe had previously denied having knowledge?
Ms. McBride then spends a paragraph disparaging the Post and clinging to the hope that the emails are not legitimate before acknowledging:

But the biggest reason you haven’t heard much on NPR about the Post story is that the assertions don’t amount to much. “We don’t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don’t want to waste the listeners’ and readers’ time on stories that are just pure distractions,” NPR Managing Editor for News Terence Samuel told me. “And quite frankly, that’s where we ended up, this was … a politically driven event and we decided to treat it that way.”
This column warned yesterday that if the Post reporting continued to hold up, some media folk might quickly pivot from arguing that the revelations were so damning they must be part of a hostile Russian intelligence operation against the United States to arguing that actually the Biden emails aren’t damning at all. Just typical swamp behavior?

This column takes a back seat to no one in skepticism about the Beltway establishment. But given the documented overseas riches collected by the Biden family, it would be patently unfair to claim that the average Washingtonian is as corrupt as the former vice president.

I’ll come back here for the hi lights later. The news said earlier today that the microphones were going to be switched off for the one not talking so that the other one would not be interrupted.
