I have a 250,000 btu diesel heater I am seriously thinking of taking it to the front yard and fire it up and point it at the tree. It should melt that ice in 5 or 10 minutes lol.

I’ve got a 20’ Autumn Blaze Maple in the front yard with branches touching the ground right now. I wish I had that heater you have.

I had to bust out the bernzomatic to unlock the gates and unfreeze the shop door to get my generator out... Just in case. Got a couple odd looks filling up cans at the ezgo wearing shorts and slides.

I suppose I could bring it to you. I dont really want to drive 30 miles to edmond but maybe the roads will be better soon?

Thanks! I appreciate that offer. Let’s just hope the tree will make it. But, you got me thinking I need a heater like the one you have. [emoji3]

In 2003 mom and dad were without permanent power at the farm over 30 days. I was without over 1 week and lost all our food in the fridge and freezer. I said to myself, self, ainna gonna happen agin. Called Faith Electric and took advantage of their finance program. We paid it off 5 years early. It has been on now for over 11 hours straight. No filling it with gas, no manual switching and we are warm and toasty watching TV not worrying about food in the fridge. We are an island with power and our neighbors are dark. We have also invested in a fraidy hole, a new roof and now all new windows and doors before Christmas.
Wife has gotten me to buy ammo whenever we can and is thinking about getting another gun for herself. Whaddawoman!

I have one as well. That bad boy can put out some heat!
They absolutely do! i used it to heat my 1800' shop I used to have. It was 14' walls too and that think kept it at 45* at night so water pipes wouldnt freeze and when I went to the shop in the morning, 20 minutes with it on and I was hangin my jacket up.

Nothing like having a generator to power the house. I almost felt bad a few years ago when all houses on the block were dark but we had the Christmas lights on [emoji23]

If roads are better tomorrow and I'm off work, I'll bring it.
I am teleworking and today the state closed state services for non essentials ( I hate being considered that lol) but this is the first time that has happened and I have no idea if I will be off again tomorrow. All depend on the VPN connection working or not.
