The strangest dream I've had in a while was one where I was under a death sentence in Utah, and was about to be executed. I woke up just before that happened.

Like I said: weird dream.

I actually had a dream once where I WAS executed. The last scene of my dream, I was in heaven but it was not at all like you'd think. LOL!

LOL! Okay, since you asked...

It was like a big swimming pool out in the middle of no where... no houses around anywhere, a big open field with rolling hills off in one direction, and a grove of trees in another direction. There was a pump house where I guess they kept equipment. There was only one other guy there when I got there, no idea who he was, but I said something to the effect that I thought there would be more people here than this. He said, "They'll be along pretty soon." Then I was kind of aware that there was a group of people about to come over a small rise... I never actually saw them, just heard them coming or something, or knew they were coming. That's when I woke up.

The funny part was, before I died I met some of my family at a local restaurant for a "last meal". I had been administered the fatal chemicals, but after they gave them they sent you home knowing you would die sometime that night. We finished our meal and were lined up at the cash register to pay the tab, and the lady at the cash register said, "Ya'll come back!" I just smiled at her and said, "Pretty sure I won't be back."

LOL! I guess even facing death, I have a weird sense of humor.

In a strange land far far away,,,
Actually, northern California in the mid 80's.

I went out to drink beer and shoot pool one evening,,,
I was winning most of my games so the beers were coming fast,,,
I finally closed the bar down and somehow managed to get myself home safely.

I had a dream where I was at that bar shooting pool and winning,,,
I took a $1 scratcher lottery ticket in lieu of a beer,,,
I scratched a $1,000,000.00 winner.

In my dream I wisely didn't say a thing,,,
But went outside and put it in my glove compartment,,,
Then went back in the bar to do some secretive celebrating.

That dream was so real,,,
I got up in the middle of the night and went to my car to check.

Alas,,,
I'm still poor.
