Stihl #1 echo #2 Shidaiwa #3 Husqvarna #4....everything else made today readily available is junk.

As you can see i prefer Stihl, but the little echo climber saws are pretty slick and Stihl stopped making the 200t so I ended up with the larger topping saw from echo.

So, you saw guys, (I own a bunch and know how to use them, but I'm not a "saw guy") How much should a guy pay for a good, not hard used, but used 362?

I'm gonna get me another 12-14" top handle too. The one I had gave it's all, but alas it is no more.

I bought my Echo at Lowe’s 15 years ago. It’s been great. What I won’t buy at Lowe’s is lawnmowers. Guarantee the manufacturers create a specialized line for big box stores.

I have the Dewalt 20v chainsaw. It comes in super handy around the woodshop as I mill my own lumber, and I prefer cleaning up my cottonwood limbs with it around the house after every measurable amount of wind. It runs quite a long time on a 6ah battery. That being said, it won't do heavy work. It struggles through green mesquite, so the stihl is my go-to. Big box stores have "exclusive" models built cheap for max profits at a lower price point. Definitely hit the local outdoor equipment store or hit your local atwoods. They don't have the buying power for knockoff tools.

If it has the same model # as the one at the lawn store, its the same. Usually the ones made for the big box store has a digit or so off, or its own model #. One of the reasons being is, no one can price match it, as its not available elsewhere. Machines were down at Pro Power, so my Echo 361 will be delivered by Home Depot tomorrow.

362 uses maybe 350 to 450 depending on how well its maintained. I flow the junk out of my saws every time I use them.

I just ordered a 362 C-M for $850, if you can get one in your hands you are already ahead of the game
