well it looks like the court-craziness continues with six states (oklahoma isn't one) seeking to intervene and join the texas case.

I haven't seen yet if it changes process at all, or is just more an attempt to send signals to the court.

I wonder what else we will see in the next couple of hours before the filing deadline.

Look up the definition of Kraken. That really says all you need to know.

"Throughout the centuries, the kraken has been a staple of sailors' superstitions and mythos."

Basically an imaginary entity that has great power and is to be feared, emphasis on imaginary.
Actually ist the name of the military intelligence unit that went in a secured the servers.
But yeah I know what the Myth is.

Quotes from the dismissal of Powell's Kraken lawsuit for the fourth time? Or the legal team's inability to protect it's own witness while asking a judge to keep the person's identity a secret from the defense?
Your retired without any hobbies I gather from the length of all your post. I dont have the time to read it all so I was asking a legit question

not at all. I just like the courts. (Though my work has been severely impacted by the handling of COVID, which has left more time for some of my other hobbies and volunteer work)

I'm sorry if they are too long for you, but i do hope they are helping others who take the time to read them. And my answer was legit, as well. My post related the kraken lawsuits and their inexplicable errors.

Looks like at least one state, Ohio, filed amicus briefs in the matter. Saying, amongst other things, that what Texas is asking "would undermine a foundational premise of our federalist system."

There is also a good line, saying, "The courts have no more business ordering the People's representatives how to choose electors than they do ordering the People themselves how to choose their dinners."

It also says the court should weigh in on whether it violates the Constitution for state courts to interpret state election laws in a way that deviates from the text of the statute (i.e. the issue raised). But that it is probably too late for this election, but important for 2024 and so on.

Well, as i wrote it there i meant in court. That each presentation has, as of yet, failed to convince any judge at any level. And that the filings themselves have been riddled with errors (like quoting things that do not exist, asking for things that cannot be granted, etc).

Perhaps the cases will go higher and convince the SCOTUS. Perhaps not.

But as an example, the judge in the AZ case said, “Not only have Plaintiffs failed to provide the Court with factual support for their extraordinary claims, but they have wholly failed to establish that they have standing for the Court to consider them."

And

“Allegations that find favor in the public sphere of gossip and innuendo cannot be a substitute for earnest pleadings and procedure in federal court.”

Are these Trump's legal team's cases or others? I'm only concerned with Trump's legal team's cases.
